Marcus Barnes is an American worship artist, singer/songwriter, composer, and musician based in the St. Louis area. With a diverse musical palette encompassing Contemporary Worship, Classical, and Pop. He has composed for concert band, orchestra, chamber ensembles, solo works, and choir, alongside crafting contemporary worship songs for the church that are designed to inspire and uplift.

In addition to his worship music, Marcus explores the vibrant realms of pop and EDM, culminating in his debut album, "Constellations." His work is deeply influenced by his curiosity about global cultures and his Christian faith. This interplay of tradition and belief shapes his compositions, creating music that not only glorifies God but also serves as a gateway for others to encounter the message of Jesus.

With the release of his worship single, "Endless Hallelujah," Marcus aims to honor God in every aspect of his music. He believes in the power of worship to transform lives, echoing the sentiment of Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people.”

Marcus studied Music Theory and Composition at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree. Currently, he serves as the NextGen Worship Director at Metro Community Church in Edwardsville, IL, where he mentors aspiring worship leaders and musicians. His passion lies in nurturing the next generation to passionately worship God and boldly proclaim His name above all others.
